I finished it!

I finally got my quilt frame stained, finished and put together and used it last night for my first quilting stitches! This was my big project for the last half a week, so not a lot of other pics to share. But I'm so happy I have it done!

I played with it last night for all the little adjustments and tilts it does! What fun!

Can't wait to see it, Dawn! Have fun playing with it. I'm going to try to get some housework stuff done this morning and then play with scraps this afternoon!

Hi Dawn, good to see you. Glad you finally had the unit arrive and have done what needed doing. Looking forward to seeing it and your star quilt.
Do you rely on the little box above the posting window? If you don't have Picasa and Hello, maybe you should go over to blogger home page(Dashboard) and download them...I use one or the other..the little box sometimes and sometimes Picasa. can't tell if there is a quality difference or not.

Congrats on your finished hoop! I had some problems uploading pictures today, too -- sometimes I think blogger just has a mind of its own!

Was the hoop a kit? How is it working out for you? I just bought a "q-snap" at Michaels...not that wild about it so far.

I"m loving it! The first night was hard, I turned and twisted and just didn't have the feel for it. But now I'm really loving it! I want to do some bigger quilts, but it was just too heavy for me to hold up compfortably. The hoop is a hinterburg. It comes with all the pieces and then you stain and finish it and put it together. It is costly, but well worth the money.
