What will it be?

I had some time today while taking a break from Jenna's quilt, so I cut out fabric for my next project! I"m not showing what it is until next week. This is what I'm taking to my mom's house while I'm there for 2 weeks. I've wanted to make this now for ages, but it is a bit repetitive, so I just never started. Well now is the time! It will be perfect for taking with me! I can do mindless sewing while visiting with my mom! So until then - enjoy the pieces!

Oh by the way, Jenna's quilt is coming along. I"m hoping to have it done by tomorrow night!

Enjoy your time with your mother. I will await to see what all these strips might become.

Your picture reminds me of those cuisenaire blocks that littlies use for maths in primary school.
Can't wait to see what it will be.

Have fun with your mom. This looks like the perfect project. I'm going to the beach for a week with Mom and Sue in July and we always take a project...thanks for posting your pic...I know just how I'll package my pieces now. Have a great visit.

I have a guess - could it be a log cabin? Those colors are scrumptious.

Now if you can just get them to stay that way, all neat and organized..right?

Can't wait to see what you're up to.

I join in the guess and would say it could be a log cabin, all those stripes, the clue about it being repetitive. I hope you enjoy your time at your mum´s and come back with a finished project to show us.
The graduation quilt is looking better everyday, so colourful and already full of positive energy. Take care.

I'm a couple of posts behind here ... I can't wait to see what your new project is going to be! And thank heavens you were able to see the yellow block needed frogging before you took it to the quilter. That would have been a headache!
*hugs*

Well, that looks intriguing. At first I was thinking Postage Due *s* then I went back and looked at the strips. Nope.
Enjoy your time with your mom. Be waiting right here to see what those strips become

I immediately thought log cabin when I saw them, but I'm ever right! :) Your colorful blocks are luscious; love the finished top!
