Men At Work - DONE!

And my 2nd finish for 2008! Don't worry - I've been working on this quilt off and on for 2 years now! I just took the time to quilt it over Christmas and the New Year holidays! And I still have to hand sew down the binding on the back. But I say it is done anyway!

This is an old block called Darting Birds. See the birds flying in the top picture. Why do I call it Men At Work? Flip the quilt - do you see the men!

I love the quilt Dawn! I've never seen that block before but it's wonderful and gives a lot of movement to the quilt.

Hurray!!! It's name brings a giggle to me...remember that googly-eyed guy from the '80s group?!? ;-)

I remember when you first debuted this work-in-progress to us. It's been 2 years already?! Well done!!!

Is that your smiling face in the photo? Nice to 'see' who you actually are!

The quilt turned out VERY nice - it has such a graphic quality to it, plus has an old-fashioned look to it. Great job, girl!

Congrats on an awesome quilt. I like the two ways, men or birds.
I like very much the market bag too. I have just been using furnishing fabric for a project too! Browsing at all kind of fabrics to use for quilting is something I enjoy a lot. Take care.
