More Amish Quilts and my mini is finished

I got my mini pineapple finished! Each block finishes at 2" square and has 45 pieces. The 9 block one is going in a barn-wood frame, but that is at home so you'll have to wait to see that. I had 4 blocks leftover so I"m making a mini quilt out of that one. I made extras in case I really screwed one up for the 9 block - I didn't want to start all over!

And here are some treasures from the Lancaster Quilt & Textile Museum. Mom bought them for me but I have to wait until xmas to get them. Isn't the pottery dish wonderful! It is made locally. And the button frame is just too cute!

Here are some more quilts from the museum, I knew you would enjoy seeing some more!

All the pictures are interesting, but the mini pineapple blew my mind, and I looked at the rest while still in a state of awe. I can't even imagine how it's possible to work with such tiny pieces, and it is so beautiful.

I hope once you frame that pineapple piece you put it in a place where you can just stare at it all day. Again I can only say 'Wowza!'

Where is the nearest mental hospital? You have to be ready for it after finishing those pineapple blocks. FABULOUS! I would never even attempt that. When are you going home? At least the flooding should be gone by the time you get home.

Love the little pineapples Dawn. I am a huge fan of both pineapple blocks and anything miniature. They will look great in your wooden frame! I am starting to get fired up for camp even though it is still over two months away! Can't wait to see you!
