Quilters Blessings

Its home! My Quilters Blessing quilt is back from the quilter and binding is sewn on! I have the sleeve sewn on, but I still have to hand sew down the back of the binding, so I guess it isn't totally done.

And here is a close up of some of the blocks and quilting.

And look at this fun backing!

After my middle daughter left to go back to college Sunday I found this on her bedroom door. Do you think she didn't like the fabric and projects I had been storing in her room? Ooops. Guess I forgot to clean them out before she got home for break!

I see your blonde is back at it. Funny! Quilter's Blessing is great. Almost 1 year to the day you started it. Good going.

Obviously a sense of humor with your No Quilter Sign! That is just too funny! I bet many a college students rooms room taken over for sewing rooms.
Your little embroidery quilt is cute...oh but the quilting over the embroidery distracts me a bit. Not being mean here...because it is adorable.

I'm still chuckling. I think you should keep that sign. It might come in handy when your daughter gets to the stage that quilting ain't so bad after all, and she is raiding your stash to finish her quilt :-)

So funny!

Your Quilter's Blessing quilt is beautiful! Goot love the DD. I guess she knows her priorities - too bad fabric isn't one of them.

I love this quilt! I've enjoyed seeing your blocks along and then the pieced ones...but seeing it all together really packs a punch. It's great!
