Surprise in the Mail

I got another surprise in the mail this week! Jan (Tyler Rose) knew I really wanted one of these. Friends of mine in Indiana along with Jan made these long before I knew them. So everytime we get together to sew I always covet theirs. Well Jan remembered and made this for me! Is it not the coolest! I just love all the colors in the fabric. Thank you Jan!!!!!

Had to go to our office downtown this week, so thought I'd snap a few pics to share with you on my cell phone. And look at this - my lens has a scratch or something, I am now getting a line on all my pictures. This STINKS. Anyway, lets take a stroll from our office....

Here is our office - look up to the 21st floor.

And just down the block the Sears Tower.

Cross the river - and back to union station!

Did you not make it to Chicago for St. Patty's day? The river doesn't look green enough. Also, Your Welcome!

Oh I just love Chicago...I see all those bridges that I used to cross back and forth when I walked Hampton all over downtown when he was little. He loved stopping on the bridges and waving to the sightseeing boats...they would always toot the horn for him and he would just squeal.

What a sweet surprise mail.
Thanks for the tour of downtown, it must get pretty busy down there.

Believe it or not, I didn't see the line until I looked a second time.

Oooh...fun giftage! Very nice.

Thanks for the pics of your business district! Very cool. Looks like the Plain White T's latest video. ;-)

We drove through Chicago a couple of years ago with a car trailer. Not so fun. I'd love to go back someday...without a car in tow.

you must have a great view from the 21st floor! I had a sandboard just like that one, I wore it out.
