A bit from the past...

Just had to share this quilt I saw at guild last night. It is my friend Lynn's quilt - lucky girl! She was cleaning out a closet at her mom and dad's house and found this plastic tub. And what was inside? This gorgeous quilt! Is smelled a lot from being in the tub, but she soaked it in quilt soap and layed it out to dry and tah dah! A gorgeous old quilt with no smell!!!!

your not kidding she was lucky!! finished and all with the binding and quilted.. It is a beautiful find.. did she say it was made by her mother?? why was it left in the tub? thanks for sharing.

Wow, that is a find. Very lucky lady. What pattern is that?
Isn't it interesting what one finds in Mom & Dads closets? I rescued two quilts when we moved my parents to a retirement home.
