Presents from Friends!

I got some very special presents at camp this year. Above is from Laura - who I was SO HAPPY to see again. I felt like it had been forever since I had seen her! She got me this gorgeous photo book for me to put wedding pics in! And a lovely candle that smells so nice!

And Linda G gave me this really cool small photo frame! She laughed and said I could put pictures of the wedding on it, then when people asked if we had a good time at the wedding and did we get any good pics I whip it out of my pocket and they are stuck seeing them! If I carry a large album they run when they see me!

And these are gifts to myself. I stopped by an antique store on the way down to camp and came across 2 bags of old blocks. I fell in love with them. I"m going to figure out a way to put both sizes in one quilt and use them all. There are more than what I'm showing, so I should get a nice small quilt out of them.

I also learned how to make chenille pot holders. This one has to be washed and dried again, but I"m making a few more, so I"m going to wait until those are done. When they are really done they are all soft and fuzzy.

I am in love with your strip star quilt!!! I went back as far as June...hoping you had a little tutorial on how to make it. I see you do tutorials....hint,hint....
Regardless, what is the pattern name and who's design is it? Yours is stunning! Fantastic job! Thank you so much for sharing!
