
So I struggled with what to do. End the end I kind of used everyone's suggestions and this is what I ended up with. It will be large enough for my bed so I can see it every day. I can't wait to get it quilted! But first I have to make the backing!

I also made these 2 wilderness type blocks for a friendship quilt some of us are making for a friend. Aren't they cute!

I really do love the string quilt. It is gorgeous. And your setting color is perfect. So many it seem, set strings with a dark color. I prefer the lighter. Hope your dd has gotten settled in OK.
