I've been slowly working on several projects. I haven't quite gotten back into big time sewing since I've been back from vacation, but I have finished a few little things. First off I bought this monkey pattern and kit at the quilt show in Melbourne - isn't he cute. You have to love the monkey boxer shorts! It is called
Magoo by Melly and Me.

I worked on my Winter Wonderland redwork over in Australia and finished this block up after I got home.

I also told Karen at Log Cabin Quilter that I would show her my spring wall hanging like she made and my Ginger Cookie Company Sunflower runner. I made these a long time ago, but it is always nice to get them out and share.
Love both of your wall hangings. Your "Spring" one is quilted so much nicer than mine. And our sunflower pieces look a lot alike!
ReplyDeleteYour work is so beautiful - I love your spring one, and the monkey is just so sweet - love his boxers!!!!!
ReplyDeletethat monkey is adorable, will you save it for your first grandchild???

I'm sure you had a good laugh when assembling that cute monkey. I think he should sit on top of your computer and remind you of your great vacation.
