First Civil War Diaries Blocks

I"ve been wanting to make the blocks from the Civil War Diaries and Civil War Love Letter books for a long time. So when Kathie asked me if I wanted to do it of course I said yes! I"m about a week behind, but I got the first 4 done! (Thank you Kathie for picking easy ones for the first week so I could catch up!). So just a short post today - I'm busy sewing!

This is the part I like the best...looking at others choices for the fabrics!! I love seeing what fabrics we all have! Excellent choices Dawn, and great blocks. Don't you just love cheddar and blue!

Gorgeous blocks! I would love to join in, but have so many things on my plate right now. I'll have to be content admiring yours and others.

Okay, I am going to pull my book out and start making some of these blocks. Goodness knows I have wanted to for a long time. I won't be doing as many as you, but if I can do two a week, that will be good. I am going to go pick some out now. Yours are great!

This is the worst thing about reading blog, you always see something you would like to do. I did not know of this Civil war Diaries.... and I am not going to look it up because I might be tempted to start it as I haven´t got enough of WIP´s!!! Great blocks, it will be interesting to see the progress.

Oh Dawn they are so wonderful! And I recognize that cute little blue from your blog background! I think I have a pretty good stash, but am always amazed at how much more is out there.
