Isn't this clothespin bag just not the cutest! I made this for Laura for camp. We always bring containers for treats that we pass around. She is bringing the decorations for our table so I offered to make the treat containers. Since the theme is Patchchwork Pantry I thought this clothespin bag would be perfect. Now to decide what fabric I"m going to make mine in. I keep changing my mind! Or I love Laura's so much maybe I'll steal hers!
I also got fabric cut out for one more kit for camp!

The Wedding Quilt Top is DONE
Yes, I've been extremely busy. We never travel or go anywhere. This month we have been gone on long road trips 3 weekends in a row! I"m exhausted. But I did accomplish one thing! The wedding quilt top is DONE!!!! DONE I say!!!! And I had a about a 15" x 40" strip of background fabric left - now that was close! Taking it to the quilter tomorrow!
Last week went to Iowa for my middle daughters White Coat Ceremony. She officially is a P1 student now (1st year Pharmacy Grad School Student). They have a lovely ceremony where they get their white coats. My kids won't even let me take pictures anymore because they say - "its going on the blog". So Here is a picture of her with her white coat and lego head.

Bricktown Oklahoma City
Went to Bricktown in Oklahoma City today in the 95+ degree heat. It was hot. I sure could not live down here, that is for sure. But the river walk was beautiful and nice to take a stroll after a full day of driving yesterday. Tomorrow we turn around and do the drive back. Ughh.

Getting ready for Camp!
Did a bit more to get ready for camp. Our theme this year is Patchwork Pantry and I decided I needed some fun pillow cases for my bed - aren't these perfect!
Also did some cutting for a project to work on. This will be a quilt for my sister in law. Last year I made one for my brother for their new house. My mom bought the fabric and then I made it for her to give him. His wife has been teasing her - when does she get a quilt. So this year when I was out there with mom we bought this fabric for her quilt! She loves purple. Stay tuned for progress on this one!

Where does the time go!
Boy is this month flying by! There won't be much to show on the quilting front. I"ve barely been home. This week we took a quick trip to central Ohio and back to do a campus visit with Emily. This week it is a trip to Des Moines to help drop stuff off for Jenna at her new apartment and then down to Oklahoma to take Holly her shower gifts (oh by the way the shower was wonderful). So busy, busy, busy!
Emily made the flower vases for the shower as favors for everyone. Didn't they turn out cute!
And I think Holly liked her tree skirt!
I did finish the above punchneedle for my friend for her birthday. About time too since her bday was in May! Isn't the box cool! This pattern and box came from Connecting Threads - isn't it cute!
