And this is the BIG FINISH from camp!
Ruthie brought finished the quilting and I picked it up from camp. I got the binding on and my friend Joan hand stitched it down for me while she was chilling up stairs on the couch! How is that for team work!

And I didn't make Joan hand sew the binding down. She likes to do it and I was busy working on other stuff and chatting away with friends, so she just picked it up and did it!
Isn't it wonderful! Make sure you go tell
Ruthie how much you love it too!
Oh my! That is very nice! Love the blocks, the quilting and everything about it.

ReplyDeleteMore proof, that sometimes the least complicated blocks turn into the most lovely quilts! I love how the 'regular' design of that block turns into something totally unexpected when you exchange the lights/darks. Your colors are so soft and inviting. Hey, I WANT that quilt! 8-)))
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet touch to finish your quilt...hand sewing by a friend. It's beautiful! I love the fans too. one of my favorite quilting designs.
