It is so cold out I finally hauled out an old hand quilting project I've worked on off and on for a few years. Got most of the tree block done tonight - but need to work up that callous on my bottom finger again!

Oh my --- Your hand quilting is wonderful!!! It is truly beautiful. Can't wait to see the piece finished!
Very lovely! I do love the look of handquilting. I have a few very special quilts that I slowly handquilt on from time to time.

Perfect project! Have fun.
It's an oldie but a goodie. The quilting loooks wonderful, I wish it were cold enough to hand quilt here.
An old one, but a good one!
I'd love to see the whole thing.
Oooo looks like a quilt I would love from what I can see! I do hope you'll finish and share.
Love seeing your really nice stitching!!! :)
OK-- When the chips are down--- this is my favorite kind of quilt project.
I will have to do the same thing when I get my Dear Jane out of the closet today.
Your quilt looks great!!
It certainly is cold enough to hand quilt...keeps your hands busy and your body warm. Love your old project.
Your handquilting is just wonderful. I give high marks to people who have the patience to do that. I did one quilt once and that was as far as I got. Now, sad to say, I send them out.
Do I Spy (with my own little eye) Primitive Primer??
If your neighborhood is as frigid as mine this is a perfect way to spend the day!
I love hand quilting! Just look how awesome your quilt looks!
Love it! You knew I would *s*
Dawn,
Do you pin baste and then take the pins out as you quilt?
Your quilt will look awesome when it is finished. I have made two of them! It is one of my favorite patterns.
The first few days returning to hand-quilting is a bit painful no?! Can spot some old favorite fabrics in your quilt!
Love the hand quilting photos! Makes me want to step away from the machine and do some hand work...yum!
