We could enter our quilt into either an Art category or Traditional. No rules for which category you had to put them in, you could just choose. So my joke quilt which I put in Traditional is above. I wanted to do Tonya's letters and title it - The Best Butterflies are Dead Butterflies. But I just have been too busy at work so went with small and sweet.
My real entry was placed in the Art Quilt category. So what do you think! I thought it was really funny! And so did a lot of people! Not bad for throwing it together in a week huh!
Must not have been since I won 2nd place! And here I am with my butterfly ribbon! When I get some time I'll post some more quilts - they were amazing! Below is the Grand Champion of across both categories. Oh man - was it GORGEOUS!

Your Butter Flies quilt is a riot! So creative, so much fun. Did you scan and print the images onto fabric?
I had to enlarge the photo before I got the "joke"... very clever and creative..
Well, I love a good joke as much as the next guy . . . I sure would have voted for you *s*
Love it! Very creative.
A very nice art quilt and very humorous. What a creative mind you have. And how fast you are at making it.
The green & cream/white? quilt is wonderful. Looks like trapunto.
That grand champion quilt reminds me of Wedgewood Jasper Ware china from Stoke on Trent in England - beautiful! Love your joke quilt too!
You sure all are fast workers. I loved seeing all of them and look forward to more.
LOL, your Butter Flies quilt is cute! I think the only thing missing is Fabio! I love the Grand Champion quilt! The quilting is amazing.
Took me a minute to get your 'joke' quilt, love it, you are so creative, I could never even think of that!
