How fantastic that you are spending such great time with your mom - and those blocks . . . well who could resist a log cabin? Particulary when they then turn into something else.
These little log cabins are just so cute. I love the rich colours on the dark side and the teeny weeny red centres that show up on the light ones. Am liking the stars too :-)
I love the fabrics you picked up in the prior post. These log cabin blocks are wonderful and soooo tiny! Can't wait to see how it comes out. The star layout is new to me!
They look great, Dawn. Reminds me of a Mary Ellen Hopkins lecture I went to about 25 years ago. She made the comment that all the blocks in her original book, "Its Okay to Sit on My Quilt" constructed with triangles could be made with log cabin blocks. And, they turn out so interesting! Good Job!
Hi Dawn, love the loggies!! It looks very 'you'...*VBS* What fun to see what they become. And what a fabulous shopping trip! The book looks fantastic. I've admired the first one for years but never bought it...I have sooo much started already. Great color choice by you and your mom. Big hugs for a great visit, Finn
