No I didn't see that with the yellow block! I posted the pic so fast I never looked at it, and you are right - it is so much easier to see mistakes I think in a picture - it removes you a bit from the real thing.
Thanks - I have to go fix that right now before I take it to the long armers tomorrow! Better finding it now than later!

Please leave the two yellow blocks as they are ! It is giving the quilt a very maverick signature!!!
Think if you had discovered this after you had quilted it!!!! It's a very beautiful quilt, even with the mistake :)
I just did something similar today, so I had to get out the seam ripper and take out two blocks and put them back in. And wouldn't you know it--I made the SAME mistake the second time! LOL! Third time was the charm though! I love how cheerful your quilt looks.
It is a really lovely quilt - with or without the 'deliberate error' :o) On the one hand I'd say leave it as it is like an amish mistake but on the other hand teenagers don't have that quilting outlook on things like this and it will just bug her everytime she looks at it. You change it Dawn - but I don't envy you the frog-stitching :o(
I'm with Lucy -leave it alone. It adds charm and interest. Fun bright quilt no matter what.
The quilt is gorgeous!!!!....u can leave it as is or change it...me im the perfectionist, id change it but it adds that charm!!! u have done a fantastic job!!! i love it!!!!
As is the normal case - I'm a day late to catch your post. But I have to say I agree with the others and hope you left the block. It's a gorgeous quilt. The special block is just an extra gift from Mom *s*
