Brownstone Center is done!

I got all my brownstone blocks put together this weekend! What do you think! I still have pieced borders to do, that will probably be next weekends project as I'm heading to the North woods of WI. Taking my last baby to college - she is excited, mom is kind of sad!

It can be difficult to let those babies go off on their own. Have a nice trip.

totally love the quilt, and I am sad for you too...it is not easy to let go...the house seems so quiet without them there...but life goes on and other things will take up the empty. Sending a hug your way.

I love seeing your brownstone blocks together. I enjoy spotting varieties in your blocks, depending on your colors and value placement Just lovely! Thanks for the inspiration to get me started on this one. I'm stalled for now. Looking forward to seeing your borders go on.
I understand your sadness. It's a deep sadness, when the youngest goes to college.

Brownstone is stunning!!
We just moved my baby to a house! It's a little sad that we won't be expecting him for school breaks anymore. Thankfully he is only a few hours away.

You must be so pleased with this as it is turning out really well!! Cant wait to see the pieced border. Its tough these kids leaving home but a good sign of their independence that they are able to get out into the world by themselves.

Love, Love your top! The color combination is gorgeous. I think I may have to make on using "purple" as my solid-ish block.
