Let me know if that works. I keep getting comments from China and when I translate they mean nothing or use every dirty word in the book. I've put it as spam and doesn't show up in my emails but does come up on the blog.
My goodness - in my 3 years of blogging, I've only had 2-3 spam messages? Wonder what I am doing right?
I've always thought those boxes/spam are spam from another country/another language.
One time I received a spam message that was so full of Islamic Terroristic threats - several pages long, and I was so upset, that I actually got LOST going to my LQS out in the country. I WAS frightened. But that was the only time it was a real message.
Good luck - sorry to hear you are bombarded by such crud.
I had to go to comment moderation too. Nasty messages with links to "sex" sites. It is not too much of a bother to moderate...better than letting you all see all that ugly stuff.. XOXOXO Subee
Not a problem! I have considered the same thing- I've been loaded with them myself lately and get just as tired reporting and deleting. We all love feedback, but not that kind! You and your blog are totally worth having my inane comments moderated, lol!! Karen
I found that most of mine were on older posts so I have the word verification thing on and I moderate comments that are a few days old. this has fixed my problem...........moderating comments is a pain but I find I am not getting that many as most people comment on a post in the first few days of it going up...........
Oh girl...I know what you mean! Slowly but surely I began to get more and more. Most of mine were from 'Anonymous'...so, I just checked to NOT receive any Anonymous and they have stopped and that has been months and months ago!!

Can't blame you....and I'm tired of going to blogs that are loaded with advertisements now.

Why do they do that? I just don't get it.

No problem. Seeing your quilt pics is worth the effort :-)
Spam is annoying and you know what? We can deal with the comment moderation:)
