Oh Baby....
Something must be in the water. I've had to make 9 baby quilts this summer. Normally I make maybe 1 a year! So here are just a few of the baby quilts I've finished recently - yes I got lazy and made duplicates of some of them since they were going to babies that would never see each other!

Tentmakers of Cairo (Egypt)
I have LOVED the quilts the Tentmakers of Cairo make for years and years now. Their work is truly amazing. I knew about them from a friend who lived there for a short time, and learned a lot about them. In fact I own the above quilt - a truly spectacular piece of work.
I found this interview with Jenny Bowker and 2 tentmakers on you tube. It is truly amazing to see them work. So I thought you might like to see it too! ENJOY!

My Jelly Roll - 1600
Sweet, sweet Miss V, my long arm quilter, saw my post and grabbed 2 snapshots of my Jelly Roll - 1600 so I could post them on my blog! Thank you V!
My Jelly Roll only had 20 different fabrics, so I had 2 of each strip. Isn't it a fun happy Christmas quilt! It will be fun to just snuggle under it dreaming of of all things Christmas!

Jelly Roll 1600 - Fun Time
At camp we also had a "Jelly Roll 1600
I used a "Jingle" by Ann Kelle for Robert Kaufman Fabrics jelly roll and had some 1 yd cuts of a cute xmas fabric I bought at Hancock's of Paducah when I was there this spring.
I can't wait to see it again! Just believe me, mine was pretty darn cute! But hopefully in January I"ll have a new quilt finally! After a long, long, dry spell!
Enjoy all the variations I got pictures of.

More fun things from camp!
Thought I would share 2 fun things I made at camp! Above is a bucket to carry all your quilting tools in when you go somewhere! I used a paint bucket but you could use any kind of bucket you wanted. I love how it turned out!
I also made this wine tote. It holds 2 bottles of wine. I have 3 more to make but they aren't done yet. The pattern for this is Atkinson Designs Wine and Dine pattern.
Someone had this mug pocket thing. I need to make one of those now for home! Isn't it cute!
And the someone lost their legs!

Back from Camp
I"m back from Quilt Camp! I had a wonderful time as always! The theme this year was "Ghouls Night Out". During the last half of the past year each month we were given some patterns for a row in a Halloween Quilt. Each of us interpreted it the way we wanted. It was so much fun to see all the variations! Above is mine so far. I still want to do a bit of applique above the broom and maybe on the bottom black border. And of course I need to put eyes on the ghosts, witch and frog!
Below are some of the other ones at camp. Aren't they all fun!
