"Sew" many things to share!

I've got "sew" many things to share yet! And just not enough time! First off Lucy sent me some pictures on the "Krablappen" she gave me (Dutch Collar). These are worn in Spakenburg - it is the cutest little village! If you go to this webshots search you can see some of the women wearing them! Comfy looking aren't they! And if you click around here you can see some pictures of Spakenburg!
Today I thought I'd share some of the reproduction fabrics I got in paducah! I LOVE the yellow one with the grey/purple feathers on it, but I have no idea how I will use it! But I had to get a couple of yards - it is wonderful!

And I started on trying to catch up with blogs last night and came across a challenge Darlene and her friend are doing with FQs of the line "Celebrate Spring". Well can you believe it, I bought a couple of the 5" square charm packs at Hancock's of Paducah for a great price and had started a small quilt with them on Monday! So I told her I would join in! A hint of what I"m doing next Monday!

Also I promised a picture of my finished top with borders from the BOM class I was teaching at the quilt shop. I got the borders on just before I left for Paducah. These are different borders than the book has - I love these that I made up - I think I'll use this idea again!

Just catching up with you Dawn! I don't what is more exciting your trip to Paducah or meeting Rupert!!?? I am a huge Survivor fan and have watched since the first show! I absolutely LOVE Rupert. He was the best! That must have been so cool to meet him.

I'm sure all of the fabrics will find just the perfect home in one of your quilts.
Those collars are really something - beautiful and uncomfortable all at the same time. And the skirts - I'd be kicked out of the village for my rumpled wear. That's a lot of ironing *s*
Glad you had such a great time. I love living vicariously through your trip.

I love those borders - they just MAKE that quilt :o)

Those collars must have been designed solely to show off needlework skills. Other than that, they look horrible. And what do you do when you spill Revlon on them? LOL.

Lovely fabrics - and yes, the purple and yellow is delightful. Can't wait to see what you do with them.

Thanks for the photos and your exhuberance! 8-)

Wonderful border on your sampler quilt! I was wondering how they wore those collars...(hate to admit it but they remind me of the collar I put on MacBeth when he gets his ears worked on!)
