It's Done!!!!

I finally finished it! And have the back all ready. I"ll be dropping it off at the long-armers today! Wheh!

I know many of you wanted me to keep the yellow block the way it was. But this was for Jenna and 18 year old girls just don't understand the maverick thing! She would probably never have used the quilt if "it was wrong"! So I ripped it out and fixed it.

The back has 1 leftover block and leftover signature blocks. The rest of the fabric has bandaids and Rx bottles - why? Because she is going to college for Pharmacy! So how fun is that! I figured this was as close to Pharmacy as I was going to find for backing. I doubted I would find a fabric that said "morphine", "prozac" and "viagra" all over it!

Honestly, Dawn, you must sew like the wind! DD's quilt looks complicated to me, but your progress has been amazing. Love the backing fabric--I have it in several colors for kids' quilts. Kids just love Band-Aids, don't they? Your daughter will love it too.

She is surely going to treasure it *s* I can understand why you had to 'fix' that block. The first time The Princess saw a quilt of mine that was tea-dyed - she scrunched up her face and asked if those dark spots were going to wash out.

You did absolutely right correcting the mistake - kids like things to be 'just-so' My eldest won't even wear a black top with navy blue trousers - sad or what. Love the backing fabric, absolutely perfect!
