The real mistake is the gold and blue one. The square in the middle is suppose to be bigger and the gold part thinner. Well I have no idea what I did, but somehow I cut a smaller center square, but had triangles sewn on large enough to still give me the correct size inside square. I love the way it looks with the mistake so this one is staying this way! And I love the crazy reproduction fabric I had for the third block!
Tomorrow I"m off to go visit my oldest daughter at college with Emily and we have tickets to see "Annie"! Should be a lot of fun, although a LOT of driving in one day. I won't be back until the wee hours of Monday morning, so won't be back for a few days. But don't forget - post #500 is soon to happen - and the big 500 giveaway!

Your blocks are really cute Dawn, it's all I can do not to start making some myself! I can't tell where the problems were with the blocks you mentioned, so I'd say that noone else can either!
*hugs*

:-)
You really are cruising through those blocks! I don't see any problem with the ones you posted?
I had to smile at your "mistakes"! they still look good to me. I think there was something in the air this week...everything I tried to finish up (I'm now only 2 shop samples behind!) had to be taken apart...maybe our brains are frozen by the way too long cold weather?? Enjoy your trip and the play! Having time with the daughters is always fun.

We are always very good critics of our own work, aren't we!
I'm sure you're enjoying your Sunday! Travel safely.
One of the blocks I did yesterday has a wonky center - I was trying to square up as I went and I got off kilter but I am not going to rip it out. I think when all are put together, those little things will give my quilt personality.
The square in a square is my favorite. If I did not have soo many projects going, I'd have to start that one also. Hmmm . . .
I like all these blocks, the star one being my favorite!
Another great blocks! I love flag block so much!!!
the blocks look great Dawn! Leave them and DON'T do them over!
hope you enjoyed Annie and your day with the kids...
500 posts , wow!
I am impressed.

Your blocks are fine, I wouldn't do them over. that is how new blocks are designed, by mistake. some of the CW blocks are a bit challenging, I have kinda ran out of easy ones to do.
Hope you gals had a great time together at the show . . . I just love a musical *s*
I think the blocks look great. As someone else mentioned, we are our own worst critics!
o Dawn, you have really the CW mojo. I received the CW book yesterday. Finally I can start mine :-)
Wow, your blocks look amazing!!! And thank you so-o-o much for listing all the blocks by the week. Somehow I missed that info along the line. Maybe there was an email about it? Thanks again. I've just been doing my own thing LOL.
Great blocks Dawn, and fabric choices too. Did you love Annie? We saw it on stage 20 years ago. Always a winner!
I think those blocks look great, no mistakes can be seen from here. Have a great time visiting your daughter.
I wouldn't remake them, they look wonderful. It will be impossible to tell when the quilt is put together where that block is, let alone with mistake within that block.
I love your blocks and the little mistake especially.
Hope you enjoyed visiting with family and going to see "Annie." I enjoyed that - first big "play" I ever saw as a kid.
Your blocks are lovely - can't wait to start mine when my Nearly Insane quilt top is done :-)
I really like your blocks. and your little quilt! They are the most fun, fast to finish...
I love your blocks. I need to get started. Thanks for sharing.
