Kaffe fabric quilt

Siobhan posted that great picture of the quilt from the Charleston show she went to and it reminded me of a similar one I had seen at a local quilt show last fall. So I thought I had better pull out the picture and share it. Sorry I can't share the name of the maker, I have no idea anymore.
Doesn't it make your eyes go crazy! I had to look at it close up to see if it was fabric or all pieced!

That does mess with your eyes! So I take it it's one piece of fabric? It's amazing how quilting sculpts the material.

I was looking at the Kaffee pattern in a book not long ago, and ... I must admit it took me a while to catch on that this was preprinted strips! I thought it was all strings! -- it suddenly became "doable"

And I like to watch his books even the colours I use, are not so bright and stripy
