Well I think if you read my blog regularly, hint #3 kind of gives it away! But here it is! My mom bought this fabric for me to make for my brother for xmas. When he was visiting her house this spring he fell in love with hers that I made and mom said he walked around all week with it on! So she wanted to give him one for xmas.
Here is my mom's all finished, and hanging on my wall before I surprised her with it!The pattern is from Laps from Fats for family and friends - Book 3.

That is so nice, about your brother & the quilt!
I made a very personal one for my brother, which he really appreciates, but his wife is .... well, odd, is a kind way to put it! So it is not on display or in use, & neither is the one I made for SIL's 50th birthday! I offered to buy it back, as I loved it so.
It is so much fun to give quilts to people that really love them and use.
It is a beauty and in just my sort of colours. So nice it's going to a good home.
