And almost there....

Yes it is almost done here! Just a small quilt by Jo Morton. I"ll have one more picture of the finished top tomorrow. I even got it sandwhiched together today! So this week I'll work on quilting it! It feels kind of good to do a quickie project!

But I also had to play today. More mindless and liberated sewing. I"ve been promising Tonya I would make these blocks but just never got around to it - well today I started! The tiny little ones are the beginnings of some liberated log cabins.

What a roll you're on! I love the flying geese, they look like pyramids to me. :)

The flying geese must be heading to a pumpkin patch! I love flying geese! I have never done the "liberated" thing. But, I must say that log cabin you did is fabulous! And the fabrics--wow!

The geese look great. Liberated blocks are so fun. I have a UFO from a class with Gwen Marston -- I should "liberate" it from the UFO pile *s*

That's a lot of geese!

And I like the wonky blocks in the picture beneath that too!

Oh, forgot to add... I like the new theme you have on your blog, all back to school and apples. Looks great!

Wheee, I'm thrilled you've gotten started on these blocks. They look great - I love that royal blue star. Now you're on a roll, keep going!

I love the flying geese quilt. I have never made a small quilt in my life - I'll have to start! Do you hang them? I have never thought I'd be one to have quilts hanging in the house, but maybe I should rethink...

Love your liberated blocks in progress, Dawn! Good for you for finding time to sew and have sanity. Your geese look wonderful too in their fall colors!
