Ta Da!

It is finished! It is finished!!!!! I finally finished hand quilting my little Friends quilt like the one I made Laura years ago! My top has been done for years, I just never quilted it! So now I can cross one more UFO off my list!

And of course I always like to see the backs.

And closeups.

Beautiful mini, that seemed like a quick finish to me but I am sure it has not seemed that way to you! Wonderful job!

That is such a sweet quilt. I'm glad you made one for yourself ... something I always intend to do, but have only managed ONCE.

I finally have to comment. As I sit here enjoying my coffee and your blog...I read several blogs, but always enjoy yours the most. I've noticed that my quilting style is the closest to yours as any blog that I visit. I have made a "friends" quilt also, and it is my favorite small quilt. I love Cheri's quilts and LOVE scrappy quilts.

Right now I'm working on a pineapple quilt, but am quickly realizing I should have made it scrappy as it is boring to me. I'm making it with civil war (mostly) fabrics in black, red and light fabrics. I'm going to hang this large quilt in our family room, to coordinate with my husband's pool table! (can't put any furniture next to the pool table to take up space)

Am anxious to see what you bring back from Paducah!
