I thought I would post a few of my favorite quilts from the Chicago show today. Quite a variety, and just because they are my favorites doesn't mean I could attempt to make them! :) Things are busy at work still, so I'll keep the words short and just let the pictures do the talking.

They are all wonderful, but I especially love the one with the brown background.
I'm convinced that Chicago had much nicer quilts then Lancaster this year. WOW!! Thanks for sharing. :o)
Wow...just WOW!!! Those are amazing quilts. Even better than ours in VA last February. The details are so beautiful.
Thanks for the comments on my blog! It's always nice to see anyone visit, let alone comment! I'm still amazed at the complexity of those show quilts...wow!
Oooh, like that spikey New York Beauty. Sorry you continue to be so gosh-darn busy at work.
I was also in Chicago and thought it was a terrific show. I took some of the same pictures you did. I especially like the bird of paradise. The background looked like suede.
I was also in Chicago and don't remember these quilts, except the hexagon one. Incredible. I thought I was very systematic, but clearly what one can take in is limited. Thanks for the pictures--I admire them now.
