Seriously....I need to make some coin quilts with all these tidbits I have here. Your's is a delight and your X-Rated will be wonderful with your handquilting! I can see it now! LOL
Too funny! I did the same thing with my X-Rated quilt. Made the piano key border and decided it was just too busy. Ended up with a two-fer set of quilts too! Your coins look great (as does your X-Rated!).
Perfect as usual! Can't wait to see the quiting on the x quilt. My poor rendition is still hanging on the design wall. Not that I want to wish my life away, but I'm looking forward to 2011 and getting more things done! Karen

Great solution to your X-rated quilt! And that strippy coin turned out super cute ;o)
The coin quilt sings to me. A simple design yet I have never made one. I like the colors of this one.
very nice,I like the plain border, a good way to show off some hand quilting.
You clever quilter, you! Both make me smile.
two great pieces. What fun scrap quilts. Hand quilting? always the right answer :)
You are so creative!! I love both of them and I think the plain border on the top one really looks good. Sometimes that is all a quilt needs.

Very cool! A two-for! They are both darling. Enjoy your hand stitching, Dawn!
Great choice and a bonus quilt in the deal, what's not to love about that?
Genius! I love how they turned out. Colors are beautiful.
The 2 quilts are both so pretty!

Oh, hand quilting will be even prettier than it is now. The coin quilt top is just great, too - my favorite color combo.
They're both great and what's better than two for one?
I like both of these, but expecially that top one!
