Nothing new going on....

Not much new going on, or to show you. I"ve been sewing down bindings on quilts you've seen already and started hand quilting my strippy coins quilt - so nothing to show you. Work has been busy so I"ve mostly been on my computer working away - another reason nothing is getting done!
So, I"m bringing back a few quilts, but new pictures. The top one is the quilt that Bonnie quilted for me back in October. But here it is all washed and crinkly! It is hanging up in my family room right now which brightens the room. And I have a closeup of the crinkly look around the quilting.

It has been snowing out and Chloe loves the snow. I wanted to get a picture of her playing in it - but my camera lens gets all full of snow! But it is so funny, she goes to pick up the frisbee and flips up the powdery snow all over her face and then looks at you like "who did that?"! Yesterday Jenna caught her taking a nap on Emily's bed so that picture was too cute not to share! (Chloe is not allowed on the beds in our house except for Emily's - she knows!)

...because it's the bed with the doggy quilt on it *s* Hubby and I have identical chairs in the living room which happen to match the sofa that we rarely sit on. I rotate the cushions monthly to even out the wear, yet Harper will only sit in my chair. No rules have been set but she knows what she can get away with and what she can't.

Thanks for sharing your quilt in the family room. Chloe is so cute on the bed. Such a good description of the snow in the face, I could visualize very well and got a chuckle.

I love your starry quilt - especially the triple bar border treatment.

Aren't animals funny with snow?

She knows to sit on the dog quilt. She looks very happy there. I'd love to see her playing in the snow - Simon would freak if he had to go out in the snow. Rain is bad enough!

Happy Valentine's Day, Dawn!

Oh Dawn I really like that quilt. I think it's so cheery and bright because the creme is light and pretty instead of a darker beige. Definitely a good positive sigh on a cold winter's day! Love the stitching too!
