Lucy wanted to see a better picture of the basket doll quilt in my sewing room mess. She noticed it peeking out from behind the mess! So here it is! Isn't it great! I've never finished it because I just can't decide how to quilt it! So maybe you all have some ideas for me????
In searching for a picture I also came across this fun Christmas basket I made for my front hallway. The basket is like a pocket so you can slip things in it! It was a lot of fun to make. One morning I woke up and found Pooh Bear squished in it!

I just have to say how relieved I was to see your quilting room. I'm thinking to myself- "How can all these girls be so creative when their sewing rooms are so immaculate?" Finally one that looks lived in! Do you think they spent major time straightening and color-co-ordinating? HMMM... And I really like the baskets and the Xmas basket- cute idea! Nina
Oh, it's beautiful!! Like the color choices.
What a neat basket quilt Dawn, and such a clever idea too!
About the little doll basket quilt, have you considered just cross hatching it? It does look old when you do that..and I like the effect on my small quilts...and straight lines go fast..*S*
I love the Christmas basket idea... may steal it for an all-season basket for the door by the mailbox that way I've got a place to drop all the "for later" letters and stuff for others in the house.
FANS! IT NEEDS FANS! :c)

Bonnie beat me to it: fans. Cross-hatching is good to (but I get bored with the straight lines).
It is so cutie !! We called it in dutch: schattig !!! I love it. Oh Dawn I think I reproduce this one too. If I quilt this I think I will do minifans. I love fans to quilt. It gives always a antique look
Love your basket quilt and what a neat quilt with the pocket. Are you planning to hand quilt or machine quilt your baskets?

Love both of your basket quilts, Dawn!
The one that is unquilted is adorable. I've only done...as far as I can remember...one basket quilt. And I don't know why...cuz I really love them. Hmmm.
You get tons of projects done...and a day job besides...so about your room (down in the other post): It is obviously a very productive room/basement, so please don't feel a tish bit badly about it! You know that any quilter would have a hay-day in it!
Thanks for sharing!
