Wanted to share what I've been working on this week and weekend. The pattern is Harvest Fruit and Winterberries from Fig Tree Quilts. I love their stuff! This is going to be a shop sample and class I"m going to teach at the LQS so I"m busy trying to get it done. Yes always waiting till the last moment! I should have the top done by tonight and then it is quilt it, quilt it, quilt it time!
And I found the picture of Finn's Santas straight on! See how much mine look like hers, but mine have way less funny angled seams and no curves!

the santas really are very similar. they'll make a lovely christmas piece in your home.
Hey Dawn, love the new applique block. That is going to be one pretty quilt!!
I sure was started to see my Father Christmas blocks pop uo...for a minute i didn't know where I was..LOL. But I recovered...glad you found the picture again..*VBS* Yours look great, and with less painful angles, I probably would have made four also..*S*
I love that pomegranate block - the quilt will be gorgeous!
Love, love, love the Harvest Fruit and Winterberries! So beautiful! And, since I collect primitive Santas, I think you and Finn should send those along to me!!!!
The applique block is beautiful. Can't wait to see the whole thing whenits together.
My motto also seems to be "If it wasn't for the last minute I would get nothing done."
Dawn, I love that harvest fruit block! I'm so glad you posted some comments to my blog ... I didn't know you had a blog, too LOL! I spent some time this morning browsing and you've made some amazing quilts. And I love the pics of the kids ... you sure have a full life, and now a dog, too?! I think mayhaps you're a glutton for punishment LOL! I'm going to have to link your blog to my blog so I can visit often. Glad to have found you again!
Oh Dawn I love that Fig tree pattern! Did you do this by hand or machine applique? It looks great!
I'm curious too if you hand or machine appliqued that lovely Harvest Fruit. I love it!
