My friend who just made the tumbler quilt with the fabrics we traded sent me pictures to share! Isn't it wonderful! OK, I guess I should get going on mine again!
Oh wow!! I have the bigger sized tumbler. What size is hers that she used?? Pinwheels had a smaller one that they sold at the Quilt show but I iddn't buy it.
Okay, now this is another quilt I will just have to add to the list of things to make ONE DAY!!
I like that pattern too, know a friend who started a tumblers top when she was switching 2000 bits of fabric for a millenium quilt. It turned out great also!
I haven't been keeping up with everyone's blogs so it was fun to see all the stuff you have on yours since I was last visiting. Really great quilts! Also, have you read Emilie Richards book, Whiskey Island? I loved it! There is at least one sequel to that also. Not about quilts, but good reading! Good luck getting your kids off to school! Such a busy time. Take care!

Oh yes, it is very beautiful! I need to do something like this eventually!
I Love it. How many pieces are in that quilt?

I was using 5" charm squares to make one but alas I set it aside. HMMMM - need to find it. Your friend's quilt is wonderful.
Ohmyohmyohmy! Please tell me that *objects in picture are actually smaller than they appear.* WOW...it's gorgeous!
Oh, what a gorgeous quilt! I bought the tumbler template a while back but have never done anything with it. This one inspires me to try it!
What a great idea - swapping fabrics and then sharing what you made!
