Oh I"m back from camp and had such a wonderful time! Linda and Laura and their group of friends are so much fun! I laugh so hard I get tears in my eyes and almost pee in my pants! Especially when it is 2 in the morning and we are all just a little tired!Above is my quilt top I made. Didn't it turn out wonderful! I just love the colors. When I first sewing some of the pieces together I thought - oh yuck, this isn't working. But I plugged along and sure enough - it all pulled together!
And here is Linda with a quilt she brought for inspiration, isn't it beautiful! She brought so many quilts that were so cool for our lectures and themes. I"ll have some more pics of them later this week.
And Laura tried to hide from me, so you only get a glimpse of her! Behind her is her 2 color crib quilt she made. She had the applique done and finished the full top in no time! I can't wait to see it quilted!
Camp Tecumseh is so beautiful and the people who work there are so nice. I didn't get many pictures of the area since I was too busy sewing! But here are 2 pictures of the pond looking out the back of the dining area and rooms downstairs.
Oh and I can't forget, wait till you see what Linda and Norm (her husband) found at an auction that I bought! Norm is such a fun person also! I could sit and listen to him tell stories forever. I'll keep you in suspense until later - I have to get a picture yet!
